Hi entrepreneur!
Welcome to a new Elevatorfy session.
In today’s class we’re going to explain you how to do a market segmentation and how to analyze who is your customer persona.
What should you know after this class?
Segmentation.
- It consists of dividing the members of a target market into smaller groups with common characteristics.
- This will allow us to define products, marketing messages, etc. Targeted to each specific group or segment to achieve our marketing objectives.
- The analysis criteria that we use to divide the market and obtain segments are the customer-based and the based on their relationship with our proposal.
- The customer-based are geographics, demographics, psychographics, and attitude.
- The based on their relationship with our proposal are benefits of our product or service problem, relationship with us (funnel) and level of awareness of the problem.
Customer persona.
- It is a very useful tool to get know our target costumer.
- It consists of the creation of a fictitious person (or several) that represents our ideal potential customer of each previously defined segment.
- Micro segmentation, it is easier to predict the behavior of a single person than of a group of them.
- He must be the maximum representative of the groups.
- To create it, we cross variables from the different segments and do interviews to look for repeating patterns.
